Sequencing beats on the computer is not really any different than any other media production work you may have already experienced using your computer. For instance many people are familiar with windows movie maker, or adobe photoshop, or even recording programs like garageband.

The concept is the same, you use computer software to help you put together different elements into a creative whole.
